Satyanarayana Puja - Temple Organized Samohika Event
The temple hosts Sri Sathyanarayana Vratha Katha and Puja downstairs in the basement hall every month on purnima/pournami day per thithi. This is a samohika (group) event and we will accommodate people on a first come first basis until we reach our maximum capacity (90 to 100 families approximately). Please see temple calendar for monthly puja dates. You can participate and perform this puja in the temple with the guidance of our priests.

Note: If you are wanting to perform the Sathyanarayana Vratha Katha and Puja as a personal/family event, you can do it Upstairs in Dwarakamai/Chavadi or by renting one of the facility spaces available in the basement. Please complete the Temple Facility Request Form and submit to maildrop@shirdisaidallas.org for approval. Once approved, you are required to bring all the items listed below. The temple will NOT provide any puja samagri (supplies).
Please bring the following items to the temple for Monthly Samohika Sathyanarayana Puja.
- Sathyanarayana Deity (Picture/Idol)
- Fruits (banana, orange, apple)
- Flowers
- Paan leaves
- Naivedya (kesari or any other sweet)
Temple will provide the following Puja Samagiri (supplies) until 7.15pm for Monthly Samohika Sathyanarayana Puja.
- Sathyanarayana Swamy Picture
- Plate to keep the Deity
- Akshada (yellow rice)
- Kumkum
- Pasupu / Manjal / Turmeric powder
- Cup
- Spoon
- Water
- Incense sticks
- Flowers
- Fruits
Sign up is NOT required to participate in the Sathyanarayana Puja. Please arrive at the temple 10 minutes prior to the start of the puja so you can be seated.
