Note: If you are wanting to perform the Sathyanarayana Vratha Katha and Puja as a personal/family event, you can do it by renting one of the facility spaces available downstairs. Please complete the Facility Request Form and submit to initiate your request. A fee of $351 will be required after the event. This does not include any Priest Dakshina. Once approved, you are required to bring all the items listed below. The temple will NOT provide any puja samagri (supplies).
Satyanarayana Puja - Temple Organized Samohika Event
The temple hosts Sri Sathyanarayana Vratha Katha and Puja every month on the auspicious occasion of purnima/pournima based on thigh. This puja is done in the Downstairs Event Hall. This is a samohika (group) event and we will accommodate people on a first come first basis until we reach our maximum capacity (90 to 100 families approximately). Please see temple calendar for monthly puja dates. You can participate and perform this puja in the temple with the guidance of our priests.
Temple will provide the following Puja Samagiri (supplies) until 7.15pm for Monthly Samohika Sathyanarayana Puja.

- Akshada (yellow rice)
- Kumkum
- Pasupu / Manjal / Turmeric powder
- Cup
- Spoon
- Water
- Incense sticks
- Flowers
- Fruits
Sign up is NOT required to participate in the Sathyanarayana Puja. Please arrive at the temple 10 minutes prior to the start of the puja so you can be seated.
Satyanarayana Puja: Rules & Guidelines
- Satyanarayan Puja Tokens will be issued after 5.30 PM to the first 108 participants on a first-come, first-served basis and seating follows
- Please ensure that all accompanying family members are with you when you join the queue, as you must proceed together to the puja area.
- After joining the queue and receiving a token, you must proceed directly to the basement puja area along with your family members. Re-entry is not permitted after receiving a token
- Only the puja participants and the family members present at the time of token issuance will be allowed to enter the puja area. Additional family members will not be allowed to join puja later.
- General entry to the basement to view the puja ceremony is not allowed. However, darshan will be permitted after 8:45pm
- Parents and guardians are requested to supervise children closely and not allow them to roam freely
- Cell phone and laptop usage is not allowed in the Temple.
- Please follow the instructions of Temple volunteers at all times.
- Timings may change depending on circumstances or other unforeseen issues
- No registration or fee is required to perform Satyanarayana vratha
- The temple will provide all required puja samagri, including pictures, flowers, and fruit
- Please dress appropriately for the puja, preferably in traditional attire
